Students wishing to 鈥淲ithdraw鈥 after the 鈥淲ithdrawal鈥 period must submit a completed Add/Drop form, indicating a 鈥淲ithdrawal.鈥 The student will receive either a 鈥淲P鈥 (withdrawn passing) or 鈥淲F鈥 (withdrawn failing) as determined and assigned by the course instructor. The student must obtain the instructor鈥檚 and advisor鈥檚 signatures on the form. The instructor must indicate a grade of 鈥淲P鈥 or 鈥淲F鈥 on the form. Then, the student must have their academic advisor sign the form and submit it to the Registrar鈥檚 Office for processing. A grade of 鈥淲P鈥 or 鈥淲F鈥 will appear on the student鈥檚 transcript.
After the eleventh week, a student may only withdraw from a class for non-academic reasons. The student will have to submit in writing the reasons for withdrawal to their academic advisor. An appropriate course of action will be taken in consideration of the request.
